RFID Warehouse Management System in India

Warehouses lose margin on receiving errors, slow counts, mis-picks and lost returnable assets. RFID warehouse management reads cartons and pallets automatically at dock doors, verifies them against the ASN, and lets staff count racks with a handheld in a fraction of the time of barcode scanning.

Indian RFID delivers warehouse RFID end to end: process study, tag selection (pallet, case or item), dock-door portals with direction detection, handhelds, RFID printers with GS1 SSCC/SGTIN encoding, and integration with your WMS or ERP. For warehouses of 2,000-5,000 sq ft, our warehouse RFID consulting starts at USD 4,000.

Industries we serve

How we work

  1. Share your application - item, surface, read range, quantity.
  2. Free samples & testing - we recommend the chip, tag and reader.
  3. Production & encoding - printed, encoded and verified labels.
  4. Delivery & support - pan-India dispatch, installation and service.

RFID and barcode together

Most warehouses keep barcodes as a fallback while RFID automates the high-volume steps. A single label carries the GS1 barcode and the matching RFID tag, so staff and systems can use either - and partners without RFID can still scan the barcode.

Frequently asked questions

Should we tag pallets, cases or items?

It depends on what you count and ship. Many warehouses start with pallets and cases (SSCC) and add item level (SGTIN) where customers require it.

Can RFID detect whether goods are coming in or going out?

Yes - dock doors with inner and outer antenna zones, or overhead readers, can infer direction of travel and confirm it with sensors.

Will RFID work with our WMS?

Yes. Middleware turns tag reads into events (received, put away, picked, dispatched) that your WMS or ERP consumes through APIs.

What does warehouse RFID consulting include?

Site study, process mapping, tag testing, reader and antenna design, integration plan, budget and implementation support - starting at USD 4,000 for 2,000-5,000 sq ft.
