RFID Label Manufacturer - UHF Labels & Inlays

An RFID label is a printed label with an RFID inlay - a chip and antenna - laminated inside. As a label manufacturer for 29+ years, Mindware converts RFID inlays into finished labels on the same presses and die-cutters we use for barcode labels, so you get the print quality of a label company with the RF expertise of an RFID specialist.

We choose the inlay to match your item: small inlays for jewellery and pharma vials, long-range inlays for cartons and pallets, garment-friendly inlays for care labels and hang tags, and special constructions for metal and liquid surfaces. Face stocks include paper, PP, PET and washable fabric, with permanent, removable or freezer-grade adhesives.

Labels can be supplied blank, pre-printed, or printed and encoded with EPC (SGTIN-96 from your GS1 barcode), serial numbers and human-readable text - with a data file mapping every EPC to your item.

Industries we serve

How we work

  1. Share your application - item, surface, read range, quantity.
  2. Free samples & testing - we recommend the chip, tag and reader.
  3. Production & encoding - printed, encoded and verified labels.
  4. Delivery & support - pan-India dispatch, installation and service.

RFID labels vs printing RFID in-house

If your data changes per item, an RFID printer (Zebra, TSC, Printronix) prints and encodes labels on demand - we supply the printer, blank RFID labels and calibration. For high volumes with fixed or sequential data, pre-encoded labels from our facility are faster and cheaper per piece.

Frequently asked questions

Which inlay is best for my RFID label?

It depends on the item, surface and read distance. Send us a sample or photo of the item and the reader you use - we test 2-3 inlays and recommend the one with the best read range for the price.

Can RFID labels be printed on a normal barcode printer?

The printing can, but encoding needs an RFID-enabled printer. We supply RFID printers and can also deliver labels pre-encoded so you only print or apply them.

Do RFID labels work on metal or liquids?

Standard labels detune on metal and water. We supply on-metal labels and inlays designed for liquids, or use spacers, depending on the application.

What data can be encoded on an RFID label?

EPC memory (typically 96-128 bits, e.g. SGTIN-96 from your GTIN plus serial number), optional user memory, and access / kill passwords. The chip TID can be read for anti-counterfeit checks.
