What showroom staff learn

1. Tagging new stock

Each piece gets an RFID jewellery tag printed with its code, weight, purity and HUID. Staff learn to print and encode tags, attach them correctly so they hang slightly away from the metal, and verify each tag on the counter reader before the piece goes into a tray.

2. Tray issue and return

When a tray goes to a sales counter it is placed on a tray reader and every piece is listed in seconds. When it returns, it is read again - any missing piece is flagged immediately, by name, weight and value.

3. Billing

At billing, the piece is read at the counter and leaves stock automatically, so the software always matches what is physically in the showroom.

4. The full stock audit

Opening and closing counts become a routine of minutes: a staff member walks the showcases and the strong room with a handheld reader, and the software shows found, missing and extra items. No opening of boxes, no barcode scanning piece by piece.

5. Exit-gate alerts and exceptions

Staff learn what to do when the gate alerts, how to handle karigar issue and receipt, and how to transfer stock to branches and exhibitions.

Training for owners and managers

Owners learn to read the dashboards - live stock, slow movers, tray history and alerts on the phone - and to set rules for who can issue, transfer or adjust stock.
