How a typical programme works

1. Buying house shares the retailer's RFID specification (chip, inlay size, encoding, placement).
2. Indian RFID samples and read-tests inlays on the actual garment and packaging.
3. Factories receive pre-encoded or blank tags plus encoding stations and training.
4. Every carton is read in a tunnel before dispatch; the buyer receives an electronic packing list (EPC list) with the shipment.
